Privacy Policy

DEXXUR (“the app,” “we”) is a Pokédex reference tool. Most of what you do in the app — browsing the Pokédex, running the Shiny Counter, building a Living Dex, building teams — is stored only in your own browser (or, in the desktop app, only on your own device) and is never sent to us at all.
What we collect
If you don't create an account, we don't collect anything about you.
If you choose to sign in (with Google, or a one-click email link), we collect:
- Your email address, to identify your account.
- The app data you've chosen to sync — your shiny hunts, Living Dex progress, teams, and app settings (theme, nickname, text size, etc.) — so it can follow you across devices.
Signing in with Google only requests your email address and basic profile identity (the openid and email scopes) — we never see or ask for your Google password, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.
Soul Link and Manual Sync Codes
Soul Link sessions and manual sync codes are anonymous and code-based — they don't require an account or collect any personal information beyond whatever you choose to type into the feature itself (e.g. a nickname for a Soul Link session).
What we don't do
- We don't run any third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't use your data for anything other than providing the features described above.
Desktop app
The Windows desktop app works fully offline for all local-data features (Pokédex, Shiny Counter, Living Dex, Team Builder). Online features — signing in, syncing your account, and Soul Link — talk directly to the same servers described above, over an encrypted connection, the same as the website.
Deleting your data
You can sign out at any time from Settings. To have your synced account data deleted entirely, use the feedback form in Settings and let us know — we'll remove it.
Questions
If you have questions about this policy, reach out via the feedback form in Settings.
